News has been circulating around various websites that the 2003 Movie League of Extradinary Gentlemen is getting a reboot. The rumors started back in 2013 when Fox who owns the rights to franchise wanted to adapt the comic book into a TV Show but that didn't come to fruitition, but now seeing that we are in the era where comic book related movies riegn supreme Fox has decided to take another shot of relaunching the franchise. The first movie for most people was a bitter let down, it even had esteemed actors like Sean Connery who played the famed  Adventurer Alan Quartermain in the 2003 film visibly upset as he had contant issues with the then director Stephen Norrington, fans were left dissapointed with a lack luster story and it showed as the movie did not meet much success at the box office.  The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is an American comic book title which began in 1999. The series spans two six-issue limited series and a graphic novel from the America's Best Comics imprint of Wildstorm/DC, and a third miniseries and a graphic novel published by Top Shelf and Knockabout Comics. According to creator Alan Moore, the concept behind the series was initially a "Justice League of Victorian England" but quickly grew into an opportunity to merge many works of fiction into one world. Hopefully this reboot will quintessentially gives us the adaptation that we the fans have been waiting for. The League consists of a mix of characters from all walks of story telling both modern and contemporary and we hope to see them all again adapted on the big screen.

Some of the characters that make up the league are:

Wilhelmina "Mina" Murray ' Vampire

Allan Quatermain / Hunter

Prince Dakkar / Captain Nemo

Henry Jekyll / Edward Hyde

Hawley Griffin / Invisible Man

Dorian Gray / The Imortal

No Date has been set yet for the films release and news is they are still looking for a director. We can only hope that this time Fox will do the franchise some justice.
